How to use Sensitive Dip Powder Liquids

Revel Nail’s Sensitive Dip Powder Liquids were carefully developed and tested to allow users to continue to create beautiful and long lasting manicures without having to experiencing “dip flu” symptoms. - Prep nails by sanitizing hands and pushing back cuticles.
- Buff shine from nails.
- Apply a layer of the Sensitive Dip Powder Base Coat from the base of the
- cuticle to the tip. Dip nail into desired color or clear.
- Brush or tap off excess powder. Repeat on each nail until has 2 coats or
- desired thickness.
- Ensure to wipe any excess powder from the brush on lint free paper towel
- before placing back into the Sensitive Dip Powder Base Coat bottle.
- Apply a generous amount of Sensitive Dip Powder Activator ensuring the
- cap the tips of the nails. Let dry for 2 minutes.
- Buff and shape the nails using a file/drill to remove excess powder from
- cuticles and smooth out the nails.
- Apply a thin coat of Sensitive Dip Powder Gel Top Coat and cure in a UV/LED
- light for 60 seconds. Apply a second layer of Sensitive Dip Powder Gel Top
- Coat and cure for 60 seconds.
- After curing the second coat, wipe the nails with 90% alcohol wipe to reveal a shiny finish.
I legitimately thought this would be super tedious to use being you have to cure with a lamp, it this was super easy and the smell didn’t make me sick!!
Bought this set due to bad dip flu with other dip liquids. Only slight headache but no flu symptoms. Only complaint is drying times. Then top coat being sticky forever!
I bought this because I got tired of the gel method, it seemed to take so long. Just used this set today and no sniffles yet. The base coat is thin and the top coat is amazing! Love it! I thought I was going to have to give up all my dip powder. But hallelujah I don’t! Thanks revel!!!
I really wanted to like this product, but it was horrible. Pros: less vapor fumes. Cons: chipped after 1 day, requires UV curing, gel top coat was gummy after one use, removal is the worst I have experienced (very strange that it takes forever to remove even though it chips so much). Basically the “cons” defeat the main purpose of dipping, which is long-wear durability and avoiding UV exposure. I would suggest only buying this if you’re allergies are so bad that you absolutely have to. Rather than dispose of nearly full product I am just going to use it for swatches.
Dry time IS a bit longer.Worth the wait to NOT have Dip Flu tho!!Also pretty easy to contaminate and no extra brushes or brush saver but again WORTH it to not have Dip Flu!If it would have come with some extra brushes and/or a saver I'd have given 5 stars!Activator has a scent, but that's ok cuz it's the base/glue that bothers me.I had been using gel top anyways so I like it.Its a 2 coat smooth/thinner GEL top that needs curing and wipe tacky off 2nd layer so make sure to go as thin as can(as with all Dip layers I suppose)and shouldn't add too much bulk.WORTH the outcome for sure!!!
