How to remove your Revel Nail Dip Powder

The Nail Spa Method:

This method requires 100% Acetone, cotton balls, and a 150 grit nail file. All of these items can be found in our Removal Kit

Step-By-Step Directions for Removal:

Step 1: FILE - Use the file to remove the shiny top coat of dip powder from the nail.

Step 2: PREPARE THE BOWL - Separate the bottom of the bowl from the top and fill with warm water. Attach the top layer of the bowl and place an acetone soaked cotton ball in each of the finger indents.

Step 3: SOAK - Place fingers in bowl and soak for 7-10 minutes.

STEP 4: RUB - Gently use an acetone soaked cotton ball to rub off any remaining dip from each nail

Repeat if necessary. The more you file, the less you have to soak!
Use only 100% acetone.

PRECAUTIONS:

Acetone is highly flammable. Do not use near heat, sparks or flame. Use in a well ventilated area. Harmful if taken internally. If injested, seek medical attention immediately. Harmful to synthetic fabrics and wood finishes.

REVEL NAIL TIPS & REMINDERS:

• The more dip powder you file off, the faster the removal process. You will not damage the natural nail if you file off more of the dip powder.
• Use a manicure stick to help remove dip powder.
• Picking or peeling off a dip powder manicure will damage your natural nail.

NOW YOUR CAN ALSO TRY THE NEWER, FASTER METHOD WITH REVEL NAIL SWIFT SOAK:

PREP

  • Protect your station with a towel or mat to protect surface from acetone.
  • Start by filing off the top coat of your manicure and trimming down any false nail tips you wish to remove.
  • Gently pour hot water (<130F, DO NOT USE BOILING WATER) into base bowl to fill line.
  • Place silicone bowl on top of base bowl and press down sides to snap into place.
  • Pour acetone into bowl until silicone scrubbers are submerged.
  • Secure lid into place and let acetone heat up from water for 5 minutes before scrubbing.
  • Gently rub the surface of nails on the silicone scrubbers to remove nail enhancements. Removal times may vary depending on your manicure.
*CAUTION:  The silicone scrubbers are meant to be gently scrubbed to remove your manicure.  If you dig or scrape your nails into the silicone scrubbers you can damage the scrubbers which will make the Swift Soak less effective!

      CLEAN

      • When finished, carefully separate pieces and safely dispose of any acetone (it is not recommended to pour acetone down drain).
      • Recommended acetone disposal: Soak up any extra acetone with a paper towel and throw in the trash.
      • To keep your Swift Soak clean, wash the silicone with dish soap and warm water after each use.
      • We recommend cleaning your Swift Soak immediately after use. Allowing the acetone or dip/gel/polish remnants to dry in the bowl will make it more difficult to clean. If this happens, add some acetone and let the remnants soften then clean as above.
